Training Structure

We structure our sessions to help players progress

Our Academy : Group A and B sessions from U11s age group

We are looking for young players to join our Academy A group. It will be great if you can already have a rally but as long as you are enthusiastic and love the idea of learning to play badminton, our fantastic team of coaches can teach you. So come along for a free trial. You will then either be offered a permanent place, invited to join us for a paid trial period, or be given advice of where else to play.

Academy B group sessions are for more advanced players. Maybe you have already played at school or at a junior club or played another sport and now want to give badminton a go? Again we offer a free trial for you to come along to meet us to try out badminton more seriously.

From our Academy, you can progress further to the Group 1 and and Froup 2 sessions.

The Academies are an introduction to performance badminton. It is the starting point for a progressively intensive training programme and we expect our players to play competitively and achieve County and National standards.

We have lots to offer and we would love you to come along and meet the team to see if badminton is your sport. So please make contact with Adrian: adrian@ibpc.org.uk -- please let him know lots about you to help us with the best time for your trial.
